Hi, I'm Kelly!
At the crux, Reefside Revival was born from my love of vintage items, creative challenges, and getting crafty. I've found that thrifting, upcycling, and making things myself has been the greatest path to self-expression through my clothing and home decor. And, I want to share that with you. But, honestly? There's so much more to it than that.
I cannot remember a point in my life where I wasn't trying a new craft, learning a new skill, or attempting to sell a product I dreamed up at the local Bazaar. I was not entirely unsuccessful, but I bounced back and forth between ideas, a lot. I never gave myself enough time with one thing to do anything substantial with it. But, what can I say? I was a kid, with more ideas than I knew what to do with.
Reefside Revival really came about when I realized two things: I'm still that kid, and, I don't have to fence in my creativity. I stopped trying to give myself a niche and acknowledged that it doesn't have to be that simple! Here, you can find one-of-a-kind handmade and upcycled items, as well as consciously curated vintage pieces. I make things that are practical, things that make me happy, and what I'm inspired to at the moment. I also collaborate with A Thrifty Notion to use at least 75% deadstock and secondhand materials in my products, because that matters to me.
With that being said, inventory will fluctuate often, but I will try to keep demand in mind when making new product. I have so many ideas and things that I want to offer here. My dream is to be the first place you think of when tasked to buy a gift for someone. I want to have a little bit of everything, and things you didn't even know you needed! So, equipped with a degree in Apparel Design and Production, a lifelong passion for making things from garbage, and that vision in mind, I hope you'll stick with me as Reefside grows, changes, and evolves over time. I can't wait to see what we create!
Thanks for being here,
- Kelly
